New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA) require all vehicles being presented for Entry Certification (compliance) to have been border inspected prior to compliance. ATL are approved by NZTA to complete these inspections at all of our facilities throughout Japan, reducing delays and additional costs when importing vehicles into New Zealand.
Our NZTA trained inspectors check for evidence of structural damage including accident, rust, fire and flood/water damage, with all vehicles receiving a comprehensive condition report and photographs of any structural damage.
The benefit of having access to ATL's structural inspection means that exporters and importers can identify vehicles being flagged as damaged prior to shipping, knowing they have the same information available to them that will be provided to NZTA. They can therefore make informed decisions on whether to continue shipping a damaged vehicle.
Via our easy to use internet portal, importers can view and download inspection data and photographs as well as being able to email these to their compliance centre should they wish to get estimates for repairing any structural issues identified.
